Are you thinking about riding Coast to Coast but a bit unsure ?
We’ve got a trail/training ride on 13th May around Rosedale and Farndale
If you’re thinking about doing the Coast to Coast this would be a great opportunity to have a go at terrain similar to that on the route. Have a chat with people who are already signed up and some riders who have already done the route. The ride will be in and around Rosedale and Farndale and will cover a variety of trails very similar to those ridden on the Coast to Coast. It’ll be lead by one of our Purple Mountain guides, with mechanical support and assistance from Joe (Trainee Guide). So why not come and ask all those burning questions you’ve got and have a great ride into the bargain.
It’s also designed to act as a training ride for those already signed up. You’ll get a chance to try out your bike on similar trails and get a good idea of your current fitness and what will be required to get you from Coast to Coast. The ride will be very sociable with plenty of time to chat and get top tips from the Guide. You will also meet up with fellow Coast to Coasters……..what more could you want.
The ride will last about 4-5 hours. There is a fee to cover cost of £15 and this includes a pub lunch.
RIDE DETAILS
Start : Lion Inn, Blakey YO62 7LQ GOOGLE MAPS
Meet : 10am
Ride : 70% off road, natural moorland trails, fantastic views and a bit of tarmac.
Length : Approx 5 hours
Lunch : Pub lunch to be taken at a time to be decided by the group
Cost : £15 includes lunch (Veggies please let us know your special requirements)
