ENDURO ON THE WILD SIDE

The Kielder Calling offer 3/6/12 hour enduro events on some of the best single track trails in the UK. With solo, pairs and teams catergories theres something for all abilities and tastes.

The event is based at Kielder Castle at the Northern end of Kielder Water in Britains largest forest. This rugged wilderness is mountain bike heaven. The course will be fully marked and marshalled but this is ENDURO ON THE WILDSIDE. A perfect setting for an outdoor adventure, and if you’ve not ventured this far North its a great opportunity to check out all that wild Kielder has to offer.

If you are new to Enduros why not try the 3 hour, or pair up with a riding mate and tackle the 6. for the real enduro nutters there is of course the 12 hour solo, ever popular, ever hard.

The course will start from Kielder Castle and will use forest track and single track through spectacular terrain. It will be varied and challenging with some rocky climbs and a long decent to ease the legs. The enduro loop is  9km long, with a vertical ascent of  200m.

Online entry is available now or download form and send. Registaration available from 10-4pm Friday 13th at Purple Mountain Bike Centre, and from 6-9am on the day at Registration Tent.
