We are sad to announce the cancellation of this years One Hundred Mountain Marathon. We have deliberated long and hard over this and tried to see a way around the current problems that we at Purple Mountain Dalby are facing. Unfortunately we do not feel that it is possible to proceed with the event given the current situation with our business and the problems we have encountered with the Forestry Commission over the last 4 months.

For those of you who don’t know in March we lost the tender for Dalby. After protesting against the process which we believed to be unfair the tender was re-run but with the same outcome. The tender for the Cycle Hire Centre was awarded to Pace Cycles and the CTC, and the cafe to Eurest. If you would like to express your views there is an online petition available.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and your support teams and will be administering a full refund to all entrants.

We hope to run a similar event from a different location next year and hopefully can make the event bigger, better and every bit as challenging.
