Well you do at Purple Mountain on our Owt for Nowt Weekend. We are offering FREE bike hire to all Yorkshire residents and anyone who has been born n bred in Yorkshire. Its a great chance to come and have a go at Mountain Biking even if you’ve never done it before. We’ll be flying the flag for Yorkshire !

BIKES

All our bikes will be available for hire including our kids bikes and tandem. We’ve also plenty of tagalongs, trailers and child seats for those not able to ride independantly. You’ll be fitted up with a helmet and given top tips by our Purple mountain guides. FREE bike hire will be for 1 hour with the option to increase the hire period for an additional fee. Bikes will be available on a first come first served basis.

Come and enjoy an exciting mountain biking adventure for FREE in the spectacular Dalby Forest. Come and join in this biking festival of fun with all the family.

As well as free bike hire you’ll also receive a £5 voucher to spend in our Purple Mountain Bike shop. So if you’ve been bitten by the biking bug you can use it to purchase your first biking goodies.

PURPLE MOUNTAIN CAFE

Our outdoor friendly cafe will be open all day with good honest Yorkshire food on offer. Why not come early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before you hit the trails, or work up an appetite and then take lunch. You could always pedal yourself towards a large piece of cake washed down by a cup of nothing else but Yorkshire Tea.

DETAILS

To get your FREE hire you will need to bring some form of ID. You’ll also need to bring proof of your Yorkshire address, a utility or Council tax bill. If you’re Yorkshire Born n Bred but live outside of Yorkshire bring your passport.

Hire will start from 9am and last hire will be at 3pm. FREE hire will last for 1 hour. Bikes will be allocated on a first come fisrt served basis.
